For the Flower Hour, share your images of flowers, gardens, fields of flowers, seasonal leaves and plants, fungus, algae, cacti, blossoms, berries, and wildflowers. Bouquets and silk/faux flowers are welcome.
Below is a Calla lily, which symbolizes beauty, purity, and rebirth across various cultures.

For many, the beautiful trumpet-shaped white flowers of the Easter lily symbolize purity, virtue, innocence, hope, and lifeβthe spiritual essence of Easter.

If you acknowledge the Lenten season leading up to Easter, we just celebrated Palm Sunday. Easter Sunday is April 5, 2026.
Because we planned our road trip to be in Northern California this week, we were pleased to attend services at our former church in Sacramento on Palm Sunday. What a blessing!

A huge thank you to Cathy and Susanne for hosting Sunday Stills throughout March! Sunday Stills resumes with me with the Monthly Color Challenge: Diamonds and Quartz on April 12th!
May you enjoy a peaceful week filled with moments of reflection and joy, as you embrace the beauty of springtime renewal and the warmth of cherished connections with family and friends. Happy Easter!

Beautiful choices, Terri. Are these all phone shots? If not, it’s nearly impossible to tell the difference between phone and camera shots.

My birthday is near Easter. Sometimes it’s even on Easter. Because of that, over the years, people have tended to give me Easter lily plants for my birthday. Unfortunately I really don’t like their smell. But I always smile and say thank you and after the people are gone I put it outside. π

Beautiful, Terri! I actually have calla lillies in my flower gardens, fingers crossed our extreme winter did not hurt the bulbs and they come back up again!

Although I do not particularly like the smell, I find lilies delicately beautiful.

They are quite beautiful to look at. Whenever we ordered them for Easter Services, the florist cut out the stamens so the sneezing wouldn’t interrupt the choir π
