All the good waterfalls are 2 hours away! 🤪

Your pictures are fabulous. Are those the ones two hours away? It would be worth the trip!

Pee Wee is up in Metaline Falls near the Canadian border. That other one, Palouse Falls, I posted about in April, is 2 hours south of us.

So much to see, so little time!

No AC here, but a wee fan to supplement the trades and frequent dips in the water work a treat. Looks like you’re enjoying your summer. Stay cool.

Thank you, Graham! I’m hoping our summer heat is on the wane!

Those are pretty steep falls! I like your water quotations Terri. That is an idyllic photo of the stand-up paddlers with their dog alongside the woman. Water is the best way to stay cool in Summer, along with some A/C.

Thank you, Linda! You’d think those falls would be named something more grand other than Pee Wee. 😁

Yes, the name cracked me up too when you mentioned it. 🙂

“Cool” photos, Terri!
I love warm summers and ours is already cooling down. But in the hotter days, ice cold drinks usually did the cooling trick for me! That and airconditioning! ❤

I love this post full of beauty , inspiration and beautiful blue water. …I have only just found out from Teleportingweena at https://teleportingweena.wordpress.com/2024/08/14/flower-of-the-day-peace-roses-4/
Apparently there is only one Ocean in this world because all Oceans are connected. 💜💜💜

Thank you, Willow! We were pleased to finally go to this area called Metaline Falls, just 5 miles from the Canadian border.

I wish I were staying cool by being in the mountains, but I’m dependent on AC instead. 😉 No other way in Arizona in the summer and we don’t have a pool. Lovely photos.

Thank you, Janet. We depend on AC here too. It’s been a hot summer and I can’t always head to the water.

I learned something when we arrived at the Metaline Falls park. The actual Pee Wee Falls is 8 miles away on a windy, twisty road and can only be seen via an overlook. My neighbors have kayaked right up the these Falls. Fun stuff! Thanks for commenting, Colleen!
