      • So the illegal ones here are the M-80s and pyrotechnics…I’m not sure of the names of them. Having lived in California most of my life, you could only buy “fireworks” at the stands which were everywhere. I find it annoying that fire prone states and cities still allow the sale of the “safe and sane” fireworks which if used improperly can spark a wildfire or injure someone. Our rural county allows them and doesn’t seem to enforce the illegal ones. We plan to hose down our front yard tomorrow in case there is a wild spark.
