    1. Isn’t she the cutest? Such a tiny little thing too! Our 4th was good and even the fireworks in the neighborhood were quiet after 11pm (miracle). Looks like we’re all going to get some HEAT this week. Stay safe and cool, Diana!

  5. Have a great Fourth of July Terri. Here, we’ll be hoping the trade winds are blowing. Otherwise the fireworks smoke just lingers through the night!

    1. Thank you, Donna! We’re going to enjoy the neighbor’s illegal fireworks from our backyard tomorrow night 😳🇺🇸

      1. Are fireworks illegal by homeowners? We often think they are ill advised, but anyone over 18 can buy them.

      2. So the illegal ones here are the M-80s and pyrotechnics…I’m not sure of the names of them. Having lived in California most of my life, you could only buy “fireworks” at the stands which were everywhere. I find it annoying that fire prone states and cities still allow the sale of the “safe and sane” fireworks which if used improperly can spark a wildfire or injure someone. Our rural county allows them and doesn’t seem to enforce the illegal ones. We plan to hose down our front yard tomorrow in case there is a wild spark.
