  1. Happy HOWL-o-ween!! Hope you had a good one. Those pups are precious. I had Siberian Huskies for years, and boy, could they howl. My husband and I embarrass our 8-year-old granddaughter by howling unexpectedly when we are together. She says we don’t ‘howl’ right – not like a real wolf, according to her.

The plant photo is so fun. Need to remember to look for humor in the things I am photographing. I always want everything to be pretty. But funny is just as good!!

    • Thank you, Leslie… ahwoooo! LOL! I can see your granddaughter rolling her eyes at your howls. I get a lot of unusual shots for some reason and I edit them to fit the theme when possible. Apparently I watch too much sci-fi, which probably inspired the zombie plants.

  2. Happy Hawl-o-ween, Terri. That’s a great capture of the dogs, but I do like the idea of ‘attack of the zombie plants.’ Austin will sometimes howl in his sleep, which wakes the rest of the household up, sometimes with a fright. I’m hoping there is no howling tonight.

    • Thank you Hugh! I captured the dead plants years ago and thought they needed a good dust off for Halloween. It wasn’t too difficult to capture the howling goofballs, they did it every day for years. But Austin howling in his sleep sounds frightful! Oh what they must dream about!

  3. Great photograph of howling dogs! We only had one dog that would howl. He was a mut and we put him in an obedience class along with his new buddy a Scottie. The one thing the instructor said at the beginning of class was no howling. We were in the middle of the course and in the middle of a class which was held at a park. I heard the sirens and looked down at the mutt, giving him warning not to howl. But, he couldn’t hold back. He started howling and so did many of the dogs. The instructor threw he clip board in the air and dismissed the class. She did pass the mutt in the end!
