Beautiful, Terri! Are you finding a lot of flowers in your area that didn’t grow in Sacramento? I saw so many new-to-me flowers and bushes on our recent road trip.

Thank you, Janis! I’ve seen many more bulb plants here than in Sacramento. Most of the wildflowers here are different than Sacramento but are like many I’ve seen in Lake Tahoe.

Stunning! In the woods around my small town, we see white and fuscia wild phlox growing everywhere. It really brightens up the scenery.

The constant de-heading of them. And I have to use my small clippers because they’re sticky! Otherwise they are indestructible!

An iris has always been one of my favorite flowers. My mom used to grow them.
