      • Okay thanks for the tip – I really liked that quote Terri. You lucked out with that major ice storm. We had a bad ice storm February 22nd. We are having Spring-like temps. We broke a record today from 1946 when we hit 60 degrees!

  1. I’m pleased that autumn is still here in Wales, Terri. We’ve had some frosty nights and mornings, which have helped preserve the leaves, although sadly, most are on the ground now.

Your frozen leaf looks fantastic, though. I love the ice crystals on it. So beautiful.

    • Thanks, Hugh! I was pleased to capture this poor leaf 2 years ago after an ice storm in Central Washington. After this crazy rain we’ve had of late, even the snow and ice just disappeared. I’m glad you still have some autumn color. When we loved in California we would still see good color in December.

  2. I also love the frozen leaf and the whole winter vibe, Terri. It’s 82 here today but thankfully it’s been cooling off in the lower 40’s at night, so I can have a chilly walk in the morning. 🙂 Happy Wednesday.
