That coyote looks pretty well fed compared to some I’ve seen. The ones in our neighborhood eat dogs. Your pet pictures are adorable. I love Brodie with that filter on. It’s like dressing him up for Easter, LOL! Your dad looks really frail, but I love the smile. Talk soon! 🙂 xxxxxxxx

Thanks, Marsha! I think the coyotes know when the restaurants toss out their garbage! Dad seemed pretty happy to be with his family ❤

Great photos Terri, though I’m partial to the cats, I love them. I’m a bit afraid of dogs after being bitten badly by one once.

Thank you, Leanne! I had two cats before I had dogs. When my last one died, I didn’t get another cat. Then we moved to a rural area and I would hate to let a cat out with the coyotes and other critters that like cats.

Somehow I doubt the restaurant owner was happy to see the coyote Terri LOL! Fun images of family and pets but you can keep the coyote!!

The coyote was a last minute add, being a canine and all LOL!!

Such wonderful pictures of family and critters, Terri. Brodie looks like a happy dog and River has beautiful markings. Wow! Great capture of the coyote.

Love the dog quote – so true! 🙂 Peaches is cute but that closeup of Brodie really jumps off the page. 😍 Is River a Calico? Lovely markings! We have been invaded by coyotes here. My dog was bitten by one last September, but thankfully, made a full recovery.

Thanks, Debbie! River is a calico. Her coloring matches my stepdaughter’s granite counters ! I’m glad your dog survived the coyote. I’ve heard some sad stories here, and of course my daughter’s sweet dog died from an attack in 2021.

Yes, we were lucky and Zoey is good as new. How terrible about your daughter’s dog! Such a heartbreak. 💔

I’ve seen coyotes strolling on the golf course during the day as well as trotting past our back wall. I love your best dog quote.

They seem very active in Arizona! I saw one trotting down the street next to my brother’s house. Many thanks, Janet!

Yeah, great shots, Terri. I loved your choice of a coyote to close this beautiful series.

Thank you, Egidio! The coyote was a lucky capture. Another blogger I’d met for lunch caught him too.

We saw one here behind our fence a week after we’d moved in. I was surprised. They are beautiful animals.

I had to smile at ‘Rogues’, Terri. Your post appeared in my Reader back to back with one from Mari Nicholson bewailing the politicians of the day compared with FDR. You can imagine who I’m thinking of, and it’s not one of your lovely pets.

Thanks, John, do you see many coyotes close to urban spots?
LikeLiked by 1 person
No, I’ve never seen one in the city or on the desert floor, I suppose they are living at much higher elevations in the Spring Mountains.

It was wild to see two coyotes so near to urban areas. We rarely see them here at home, but Scottsdale was the bonanza for coyotes this time. I feel sad that many wild animals are being displaced, then get injured or killed.

Having a hard time leaving comments today. They are disappearing instead of posting. Going to try again.
That quote is spot on. I have certainly had the very best dogs and I am sure you have, too. Brodie’s adorable. And Peaches is certainly well loved.

Thanks for trying again, Leslie. Leaving comments has been trying then last few days. My dad and step mom love Peaches, she is so cute, perfect dog for them now.

I love that quote, Terri. Great shots of the family pets, and that coyote looks intense. Now that we have snow here, I’m finding his tracks everywhere!

Ooh, wow, coyotes are everywhere. Oddly we rarely see them near our home here. I saw more coyotes in Scottsdale than I’ve seen anywhere. Thank you, Diana!

I wonder if coyotes wag their tails–and this one isn’t. Is he frightened? Hmm…

I would suspect they wag their tails. He was scoping out me and my dog Brodie. I whistled to get his attention…there was a fence between us. They always seem to be in stealth mode.

You know I’m going to be checking out whether coyot’s wag their tails… Another rabbit hole for me!

We have a few roaming around here. I’ve picked up my dog three times because a coyote was across the road looking at the dog. You know they’re around when you don’t see any turkeys.
