Water Framed Flowers On Our Road Trip

“He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season.” Psalm 1:3

Please note that I plan to take a very short break from May 2-4 while I switch my blog from a classic theme to a block theme. Don’t be alarmed if you see my blog offline during that time. I expect to post on time for the May 5th Flower Hour.
This week, I’m linking to Dawn’s Spring Festival and Lens-Artists: On the Water.
New to The Flower Hour photo challenge? Please check out my page for more information! I encourage “double-dipping” with other blog challenges if you do not want to create a separate post.

Hi Terri. Beautiful gallery of images! P.S. I’m not actually a subscriber, but WordPress sends me your posts anyway, so I thought I might as well respond.

Love all the flowers. Seems everywhere you look there are more to see, and in all colors. I’d be snapping pictures all the time. 🙂

Oh this must be Barbara.. thank you so much! While we were on our long trip, I took countless floral and plant pics–some I never see around here. Good thing I have a huge cloud storage account 😉

This is a beautifully curated and inviting piece that celebrates both photography and the quiet joy of observing nature.
What stands out most is the variety and richness of imagery—from purple tulips in a garden to wild coastal blooms and riverside flowers. Each setting feels distinct, yet connected by a shared sense of calm and appreciation for seasonal beauty. The movement between locations—Spokane River, Hood River, San Diego coast—creates a gentle journey that keeps the reader engaged.

Superb theme and gallery, Terri. I do love the ocean and coastlines. What a beautiful photo of the Coastal Rock Cress; it makes me feel like I am right there at the shoreline. Love the tulips; they look so regal in their festive purple.

Thank you, Suzette! When I saw Beth’s “around the water” theme for L-A I knew i had pics from our trip. The water drops on those tulips was luck!!
