    • Thank you, Janis! It took us 65 yrs to get here. September is a great time to go. Fewer crowds, cooler weather. Having the lifetime NP pass get you through the gate faster. We used our travel trailer and camped in KOA west Yellowstone. It was still a longer drive from Eastern WA, but not bad. If you can plan 3-4 whole days there its worth it.
