In mid-June, many folks celebrated Flag Day on June 14th. As we approach US Independence Day on July 4th and Canada Day on July 1st, let us all share our country’s flags this week.
I opted to use some creativity with my images, since multiple images of flags would be considered tedious. I enjoy using filters from an App called Painnt, or experimenting with creative post-editing.
“A thoughtful mind, when it sees a nation’s flag, sees not the flag, but the nation itself.” – Henry Ward Beecher

“If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.” – Ronald Reagan

“True patriotism hates injustice in its own land more than anywhere else. – Clarence Darrow

“Patriotism consists not in waving the flag, but in striving that our country shall be righteous as well as strong.” – James Bryce

“When I’m in Canada, I feel this is what the world should be like.” ~ Jane Fonda

“When we honor our flag, we honor what we stand for as a Nation — freedom, equality, justice, and hope.” – Ronald Reagan

“In memory of the men and women who have served in the armed forces, Happy Flag Day!” – Anonymous
