  7. Great photos Terri, but too energetic for me. I’d rather be in the water than on it these days.

    1. Thank you, Graham. I get it, SUP-ping is fine. I gave up windsurfing 6 years ago. It was fun while it lasted.

  8. Well Terri, you certainly live your life like Eleanor Roosevelt’s quote. Bright red in the water is good, especially when it is not a sunburn!

    1. I try, Linda, 😉 but, those windsurf days are over for me. Wetsuits did a good job protecting us from the sun!

      1. Well, you are still more adventurous than me Terri … SUP is one good example. 🙂 I always thought dark clothing (and a wetsuit as an example) would make you hotter and attract the sun since they always tell you to wear white, lightweight clothing on hot days. But when I bought the UPF clothing, I learned the darker the clothing and hats are the better.

    1. Thank you, Bernie! Hubby took that one of me trying to get away from the chop. It was kind of terrifying!

  12. I think you have to have such upper body strength to windsurf! I was watching, about a year ago, a whole bunch of them off the beach on Lake Huron. It was SOOOOO windy. Made for fun photo ops for me, but looked like a LOT of work for them, but they all seemed to be having a great time.

    1. Too much wind makes it pretty difficult unless you have small gear. Sacramento Delta gets some great winds, but the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon is the windiest! These guys fly 30 feet in the air! They are great photo ops!

  15. You are brave to try sailing in that much wind, Terri! It looks like fun. 😊

    1. It was fun, John! If it was too windy, I stayed on land. The men always stole their wives/partners’ smaller sails to go out in the 30+ honking winds. Good times. I prefer a nice, quite stand-up paddle session these days!

      1. I would too, Terri! I’m too old and have a bad back to do that stuff these days. 🤪

  16. Wind surfing looks quite difficult. A good amount of reds for Becky too.
That is a great last photo Terri. Love the logo

    1. Thank you, Brian. Wind surfing IS difficult for sure. I dabbled but gave it up. I must admit my last photo is from June 30th 2017. It popped up in my daily memories and was the inspiration for today’s post and the upcoming Sunday Stills. It checked all the boxes!
