As another year cycles around to begin anew, I share three photos depicting two themes from the weekly photo challenges of Circle and Now.
If you have been following my blog lately, you know I am travelling in San Diego and Baja Sur, Mexico. We spent Christmas in San Diego with family. The day after Christmas, was a sunny, but cold day at the beach. We took a walk along Pacific Beach’s Crystal Pier. I noticed circular holes in the planks and captured this. Yes, the water really was that green under the pier, due to low tide.
On our drive down on Christmas eve, we captured this shot of the sunrise beaming through a random hole in the clouds. Seemed like the eye of heaven was blessing our journey!
To celebrate the “now,” I share this photo of our view from where we are staying in La Ventana, Baja Sur Mexico. As I post this today, the wind is showing promise for a day of windsurfing. The circular shore and half-circles of the kiters depict the circle theme as well!
I am still on somewhat of a blogging break, but I am able to post a little due to some great wi-fi for a few days!
I hope your 2016 has started out right and that you are excited and blessed as a new year promises fresh starts and new beginnings.
This is a stunning photo, Terri. Love it.

Thank you, Lisa, the wind has been a little slow, but I managed to get out yesterday for a bit. It has been cloudy, too. Happy weekend!

To paraphrase one of my favorite sayings ‘a cloudy, windless day in paradise is better than a sunny day at the office’ :-). Hope the wind fills your wind sail soon.

Love that, Lisa, and indeed wind and sun filled my much smaller sail today!
