Hooray, we’re back to the Floral ABCs! This week, we’re sharing three flowers (or plants, or trees!) that begin with the letters M, N, and O. They don’t have to be blooming or in season right now—anything from your archives is welcome.
If you’re stumped, feel free to get creative and use the scientific name.

For the Flower Hour, share your images of flowers, gardens, fields of flowers, seasonal leaves and plants, fungus, algae, cacti, trees and tree blossoms, berries, and wildflowers. Bouquets and silk/faux flowers are welcome.
Off we go with the Letter M. Any guesses? I have these in my planter this summer.

For Letter N, I could have used a couple in my media file. But I wanted to have some fun, so here is my Letter N. See hint directly below.

Many years ago, I posted this for the old WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge, now a fond memory. Talk about going viral…apparently Google thought everyone wants to see “Naked Ladies.” I’ve included the post here and updated it.

Because this wasn’t my best photo of Naked Ladies, I luckily found more lurking in my Dropbox files as I moved to better lenses.

OK, so you got Letter N. Let’s have fun with Letter O!

Orchid was probably easy… but can you ID these? Think of the scientific name…

I was thrilled to have this one already in my media file!

Scroll to the end of the post for the floral names.
Anyone can join the Flower Hour with their original photos. You can also use AI tools to edit or reimagine your images. New flower images are welcome, and archived images are encouraged. You have all week to link to this post.
New to The Flower Hour photo challenge? Please check out my page for more information! I encourage “double-dipping” with other blog challenges if you do not want to create a separate post.
Sharing for Pepper’s One Step at a Time Challenge.
A Look-Ahead, for the planners…
