Well, this was not a post I intended to write when I thought of the color challenge for August. Rather than inundate you with smokey, fiery images during the entire month of August, as I originally published on my Sunday Stills Challenge page, I’ve made some adjustments for the rest of the month.
If you have them, show us your images of the colors of ochre and saffron. These are browner, golden shades of yellow. Here is a AI-generated color chart to get you going! Any colors in the yellow spectrum are fine.
Next week, I’ll address the smokey skies and fire, but this week, let’s enjoy the golden days of August with positive images in hues of yellows.
Golden Wildlife
Sometimes the wildlife is full of yellow hues,
Birds of various species go a little “over the top” with their feeding drama while approaching the feeders.
… other times they pose nicely near the yellow.
