The #Flower Hour Weekly Photo Challenge Debut

Welcome to the new Flower Hour!

I am super excited to offer another photo challenge!

Every Tuesday, I will publish a post of a flower or flowers. There is no specific theme.

Images of flowers, gardens, fields of flowers, seasonal leaves, blossoms, berries, wildflowers, as well as bouquets and silk/faux flowers, are welcome.

goldfinch and sunflowers

Any blogger may participate and interpret the challenge with their original floral photos. New flower images are welcomed, and archived images are encouraged.

It is not my intention to replace or in any way copy our beloved Cee’s Flower of the Day photo challenge. We all miss her beautiful photography and her genuine friendship and caring for other bloggers.

When possible, each linked post will be shared on the Bluesky app to boost your blog’s exposure! If you share on social media or in WordPress, please use the hashtag #theflowerhour.

Similar to my Sunday Stills Photo Challenges, please:

I encourage “double-dipping” with other blog challenges if you do not want to create a separate post.

I am looking forward to your participation each week.

    1. I just found your blog and I’m not sure if this fits in your challenge, but I’ve been doing Flora Fridays. Here is a post on the Philippine Jade Vine: https://writelifenotes.wordpress.com/2025/08/22/flora-field-notes-1-jade-vine/

        2. I created it to fill the void another blogger left when she passed away from a long illness a year ago. Cee hosted Flower of the Day every day for years! Of course, I can only host one day per week, along with my Sunday Stills photo challenges.
