Thank you, Sofia. We got some snow overnight and he wasted no time to go outside 🐾🤣

We envy you for having some snow. We would like to enjoy a real winter but it’s much too warm here on the coast of North Norfolk.
Thanks for sharing your pictures

Thank you! I love all four seasons and snow always feels magical. We finally got about a half inch overnight. ❄️

I love your photos, especially those sunflowers. 😀

Thank you, Cee! That was all that was left of them. I was able to harvest a bunch of seeds from the volunteer sunflowers this year.

Beautiful snowy gallery, Terri. Brodie seems to enjoy the snow. ❄️☃️

Thank you, Eugi! We woke up to a frosty morning today which is nice to see. Brodie loves the snow, but now that he’s 8 yrs old, he might want to come inside sooner! 🤣

You’re welcome, Terri. I imagine Brodie’s paws get cold! 🐶🧤

That snowy street photo brings back happy memories of driving in those amenable conditions on visits to Eastern Washington. Sounds like you don’t have much yet this year. Brodie must be disappointed.

I love that street perspective, Graham. It was taken February 2021 under sunny skies. Now we have low clouds and no snow 😢. True to my impeccable timing, the good snow will fall after we head south. I guess I shouldn’t complain. 🤣

It looks doggone cold in these pictures Terri. That Brodie wanting to play ball in the snow made me smile. My favorite photo was the evergreen with a little snow on it.

Thank you, Linda. I’m fond of that snowy bow pic 😁. I think Brodie misses playing in the snow now. After he chases the ball, he’ll simply lay down in it 🤣

That shot would make a great Christmas card Terri. Well, you and I used to have more fun in the snow when we were younger too, with snow forts, sledding and snow angels … time to get out your snowshoes. 🙂

I doubt we’ll have enough snow for snow shoeing before we leave for Arizona in a few days. 😢

I lucked out – some places in SE Michigan got 2-3 inches. Mine ended up being barely shovelable, but this cold and wind is brutal.

The snow and you, fabulous Terri. I don’t know where the worse position to be walking in a line. I would hope the ones at the rear didn’t slip and push everyone down 😁

I fully embrace the snow and winter, Brian! Those ladies walking in line were helping another older lady walk. It did look precarious from my vantage point. 😁

Good for you guys! Brodie looks very focused.

Thanks, Dawn! Brodie is; a dog mom like you would certainly recognize that look 😁

Lovely gallery, Terri. Brodie is so cute! So, in the first photo of the five women, did they make it? I get the feeling that being that close can be dangerous. If one falls, she could bring down the others.

Thank you, Egidio! Brodie just turned 8 this week, but he is driven for the ball! I visited Lake Tahoe in May 2018 for a women’s conference. Out of nowhere it snowed and several of us hiked and came upon the snow field. Another lady and I had walked ahead and I turned around and saw them walking like that. They were actually protecting an older lady from falling. We had a great time and no one was injured. Good eyes!

I love this time of year, when we’re in summer and the other side of the world gets snow. It actually gives me a shiver.

Look at all that white stuff. Now I’m cold, Terri. Lol. Great wintery photos. The snow cap on the spruce is beautiful. And Brodie looks like he wants to go inside. Lol.

Thank you, Diana! Our grass is so green right now, weird! I’m sure we’ll get a little, just right before we head south. Brodie really loves the snow. 😁

Nice gallery, Terri! My favorite is that simple street scene with the glorious blue sky, followed by the Snowy Bough.

Thank you, John! The snowy bow has a postcard quality to it 😁. The street is the main one to our place off the highway. It rarely gets plowed, but almost everyone here has a snow plow attachment on their trucks or tractors.

That first pic was up in Lake Tahoe in May a few years ago. Snow dumped but the sun was warm! I do well with cold and snow ❄️

That snow in May was a fluke, but shows that the weather in the mountains at high elevations is fickle!
LikeLiked by 2 people
so fickle – I think the only months snow is really rare is June thru September!

Remember the song, Best for Last? “Sometimes the snow comes down in June, sometimes the sun goes round the moon…” Impossible, I suppose, it Tahoe has had its share of snow in June! But the snowpack is very good for California’s water supply!
