Heehee, thanks Linda. I’m good around water but pick my battles.

That’s smart of you to do that Terri!

Hydrofoils look like a lot of fun. I thought about building a small sailing hydrofoil for a while, but life got in the way!

They are very user-friendly now, Graham. I bought a wind wing this spring at a shop in Hood River, OR and a special fin array to add to my inflatable SUP. I plan to try it out soon.

It looks fun, Terri! I can’t swim. I’ll let my son-in-law know. He might want to try or I can get him a wind wing for his birthday coming up soon. Where did you get yours?

He might enjoy it. I bought mine at Big Winds at Hood River when we visited you last. He can take lessons there too 😀

That looks like fun! I’m afraid, though, that the wind would whip that sail out of my hands in no time.

It happens, Janis, but there is a tether cord around your waist and another to the board. So if you lose it, it doesn’t go far. Just holding the wing and walking around is quite the workout 💪

Here is my post not quite water Wings but definitely water angels. I love your post but I prefer to watch than fly 💜💜💜

Loved your post, Willow! With wind wings you stand on a board and hold onto the wing. Good workout!

I’m surprised that the snowbird windsurfers aren’t out there yet, Wayne. We don’t have the windfoil board yet but hubby wants to try. I can use the wing with my SUP, I hope…

I haven’t tried it yet myself, Willow. But I hope to use the wind wing with my stand up paddleboard soon.

Wing foiling has all but replaced the traditional windsurf artillery. Smaller, more compact, and the foil makes it easier to surf with much less wind. I bought my own wind wind this spring and hope to try it out on my stand up paddleboard soon.
