      1. We have the Spring Beauties on the forest floor, but they are low and kind of nondescript, nothing like your flowers.

  4. Your sunflowers seem way ahead of ours, Terri. I’m guessing this is an early flowering-variety?

    1. Yes, these are the wild arrowleaf sunflowers that bloom in April until the end of May. Then the domestic sunflowers start making an appearance. I can’t complain, Hugh. 🌻

    1. When I first saw these in May 2020 while visiting our property, I was so thrilled that wild sunflowers grew here. Less work for me to plant my own, although I really enjoyed cultivating domestic sunflower seedlings.

    1. Thank you, Diana! Happy spring! Oh we have dandelions and I read they are good for the yard and environment. Now to convince hubby not to pull them LOL!
