Thank you so much, Anne! Just right out my front door!

Way too lovely. If I was smarter, I could figure out the height of the tree with its shadow and my high school geometry. Sigh.

The pine tree is on a trail near our house, and the sunrise was captured across the street as I opened my front door yesterday morning…early!

We have sun and record highs this week. Then March becomes a lion again this weekend. I have a lot to tell you, probably call you today.

Yay, I can’t wait to talk to you. We are having a lion weekend, too.

Love the sun through the trees Terri, and the pine tree shadow is cool too.

Thanks, Graham. Both images seemed to work for the equinox.

Happy Spring Terri. Enjoy the day, we are cloudy and rainy, but that is typical 😀

Thank you, Linda! I don’t get many spectacular views from my front door so this was exciting. Looks like our warm weather is over for a few days as rain returns. Good ol’ March 💚

Mother Nature sure is fickle these days isn’t she?

Lovely sunburst, Terri. There’s a blue spot in the clouds in your first pic. I wonder what that is.
We didn’t get much sun today. We got rains and it was beautiful. I took photos but my post wasn’t ‘wordless’ :), so I did not share the link here.
Happy Spring Equinox to you!

Thank you, Smitha! That blue spot is a lens flare but it seems more well defined that most of them. Perhaps an equinox fairy? 😉

It must be an Equinox fairy😀. That’s why I asked😉

The Spring Equinox was yesterday (20th March) here in the UK, Terri, so you got it a day ahead of us. Unfortunately, no sign of the sun yesterday to welcome spring in.
Great captures in yoiur part of the world though. Happy Spring.

Thanks, Hugh. There seemed to be confusion as to why the equinox was on the 19th. I read the date change was related to the leap year. In any case, spring also means crazy weather and after these record breaking warm days we’ve had here, we may see more snow!!

Thank you, Sarah! Sunshine is wonderful but we still need rain…and it’s coming.

We’ve had more than enough rain this March (way over the seasonal average) and more to come tomorrow 😦

Terri, that sunburst is just glorious! Today is bright and sunny with a high temp of 75F where I live. Spring has sprung.

Thanks, Eugi! We just had similar temps over the weekend, but snow is on the way! Oh well, must be spring!
