“I think that to one in sympathy with nature, each season, in turn, seems the loveliest.” ― Mark Twain
For the weekly photo challenge, my photos show the Seasons beneath my feet.
Step carefully, spring is green beneath my feet, but watch out for the ladybug!
“Spring is the time of year when it is summer in the sun and winter in the shade.”
― Charles Dickens, Great Expectations
“Winter brings a colder palette with more heavy blue and violet, Fall has substantial more reddish and brown, Summer brings a variation of pastel colours and Spring fresh green and tangerine.” ― Siren Waroe
Reflection of a winter evergreen reflected in a puddle beneath my feet.
Autumn Leaves beneath my feet
“In the summer heat the reapers say, “We have seen her dancing with the autumn leaves, and we saw a drift of snow in her hair.”
― Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet

I’m hoping for warm days and sunshine, but we won’t see much of either for a couple of months. …Sigh! Love your colorful pictures. I posted snow today, if you want to see some.
Color – lovely color! I think we need more winter here too really because we haven’t had any snow in Suffolk yet. I always think that if we get off light in winter than we can’t expect a truly summery summer! Gorgeous pics and quotes – I love The Prophet, especially the parts on children and marriage.
Fabulous photos and quotes! Spring is just around the corner and the beauty of the flowers is something I very excited about. That first bloom fills me with hope.
Oh, I hope you post them! We need more winter here! Started with a bang, with rain and snow in the Sierras, then fizzled. February has been averaging 70 degrees, not good 😦

Thank you, Gilly. Here is hoping for more rain and snow for both of us!

Love that! It perfectly describes our house in the spring… winter on the inside, summer just outside our door.

Funny, that’s how it is here too, much warmer outdoors than indoors!

Took photos yesterday of my snowdrops ready to bloom. One siberian squill and one crocus have also appeared. We have survived the winter…
