Like many trees in Northern California, Magnolia trees show off their blossoms between mid-February and mid-March.

Very pretty and delicate, especially the magnolia bud with the water droplets on it. I like seeing them and they are often short-lived if they blossom on a windy day, then the ground becomes “pretty in pink”.

Thank you, Linda. If you can believe it, I caught the blossom with the droplets with an older galaxy phone 8 years ago! Fallen petals are quite striking to see.
