The Flower Hr #6: Shadows of Sorrow In Honor of Veteran’s Day

Welcome to Flower Hour #6! I’m excited about November’s Flower Hour posts, as they will also feature shadows for Becky B’s November Shadows photo challenge.

There are no specific themes for the Flower Hour; just use your own photography.

Today, as we commemorate Veterans’ Day, let us remember those who served our various countries, as well as the fallen who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

These images were from my father’s memorial service in May.

Thank you, Dad, for your service in the US Navy during the Korean War. It’s been almost 6 months to the day that you left us for Heaven.

Sharing for Becky’s November Shadow Squares.

  1. Terri, this is a heartfelt and patriotic post to remember your dad and his service in the Korean War. He was a handsome sailor! I always like to see the pics of the sailors in their dress whites. The blue-tinged rose is special for the memorial service.

Per your suggestion, I am making my first contribution to the Flower Hour Challenge:
