Welcome to the third Flower Hour! We had over 20 links last week. Thank you for your participation and enthusiasm! 🌻
With Autumn in the air in the Northern Hemisphere, orange seems to be an excellent choice for floral colors now.

Keep showing off your SPRING flowers if you live in the Southern Hemisphere.
No matter where you live, always feel free to share whatever flower makes your day!
And because it’s Autumn, my favorite season, fall leaves are shared too!

I love autumn colors, Terri, and that dahlia is exquisite! I don’t have any in my garden, but they are beautiful. 😀

I’m so happy you joined in, Mr Philo! I’ve discovered that her blog domain is closed now. 😢 I’m honored to fill in the gap at least one day a week. Thank you for your kind words.

Oh Terri, these are so beautiful. That Yellow-orange Dahlia is a gorgeous bloom and superbly photographed. I love too that added photo in the comments of the dark red/purple one. Thank you for the inspiring photos and flowers.

Thank you, Suzette! The garden was full of many varieties. It must be a lot of work to deal with them. I was trying to show Brian I had a green dahlia.. 😉

Beautiful flower, Terri! I’m way too impatient to grow something like that (but not too impatient for impatiens 😎).

Thank you, Janis! I also grew impatiens, a wonderful shade plant. No patience needed 😆🌸

I love dahlias but have mixed results when I grow them.
Here are the last of this year’s flowers.

They’re touchy! I grew 4 but the tubers died while stored. A lot of work!

Thank you, Maria! I visited a neighborhood in Portland, Oregon two years ago and the neighbor planted 100s of dahlias. I took LOTS of pics. Growing them myself was too much work for me, although I planted some in 2024. I have to admire someone else’s 🙂

I was just outside enjoying the last of my zinnia color, because the sun came out though we’re supposed to have 3 days of rain. It’s time to pull them but I just can’t until we get a frost that will make everything done. Love your sweet gum leaves too!

Thank you, Dawn! I planted dahlias in 2024, but they are just too much work. They live on in photographs 😉
