      Thank you, Donna! I’ve seen another blogger’s amazing eagles from Tofino Bay! I believe the Bald Eagle is native to the North American continent.

    Made me look for Australias national bird, I assumed was the Emu, as it is on our Coat of Arms but no it is also the unofficial official 🙄

        Yes, Donna is a great bird photographer and I’m looking forward to seeing her photos. That’s great – something white for Sunday? I got to the Park and it was like a crow fest there today (or if you are old enough, it sounded the old TV show “Hee Haw”).

      Thank you, Donna! The eagles at Lake Coeur d’Alene hunt this time of year, great time to catch them. I took this one 2 years ago. The statue was in Sun City, AZ. Cool coincidence 😁🦅

    extraordinary we have all been thinking it was your national bird all of this time, and yet it wasn’t official! Still you are further ahead than us as we have only just decided on a national bird!

      Funny the things we learn. Our state of Washington’s bird is the Goldfinch. But we have lots of eagles too. Hopefully they stay away from each other! 😆

        The top eagle. I just read today that an American eagle recently died from bird flu. That makes me very sad.
