  2. I love that closeup of the bee. We’ve seen – and smelled – some gorgeous lavender plants on this trip. I took a tour on one farm in Sequim and learned the difference between, and the different uses for, English virus French lavender. I imagine the bees don’t care which one they are enjoying.

  18. Very pretty lavender, Terri. We used to have lavender in our garden, but it is such a bee magnet and both Michael and I are allergic to bees.

      2. Definitely. I planted 4 dahlias in spring, which are now starting to bloom. Then I read there is a whole process for winterizing them. 😳
