    1. No doubt. Where we live in Northeastern Washington has windchill temps at -30f. One reason we’re in Arizona for a month. Thanks for stopping by.

  3. What a disparity in temps … still better than wintry Washington though. We are having a “Bomb Cyclone” event this weekend, the penalty for enjoying a mild late Fall/Winter. I’m already worried about the 45-50 mph winds. Ugh!

    1. Scottsdale got pretty cold for the desert the past few days. Our area north of Spokane will see -1F tonight. We’re moving on to stay with my stepdaughter tomorrow through Tuesday, then on to San Diego after that. I’m going to be spoiled with warm sunny days ahead. Stay out of those crazy winds Linda!

      1. Well travel safely Terri and enjoy the warmth. Our weather is still projected to be frightful with the winds, snow and an Arctic blast. I looked outside at 3:30 p.m. and it was pouring raining. At 4:30 someone was shoveling and at 5:30 someone was using a snowblower. Yikes!

  4. Wow! It’s T-shirt weather in January, and you’re not in the southern hemisphere. Does it get cold at night, though, Terri?

    1. Since that outing on Jan 2, snow has fallen in the nearby mountains, Hugh. Crazy, huh? Hans and I have been blamed for bringing winter to Scottsdale. Yes, temps fell to 29F the last 2 nights. But the sun is high in the sky during the day! Super cold back in Spokane, with temps at -2F expected. We’re glad to be south for a few more weeks!

      1. Crazy indeed, Terri. Although when I went to the island of Cyprus once, we were able to go skiing in the morning, and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon. That day was very crazy.

  7. Well, the two of you certainly look like you’re enjoying the sunshine, even if it is a little chilly. I’ve been feeling sorry for people visiting here for a bit of sun, because we’ve had two days of torrential rain!

    1. Thank you, Graham. After 3 cold winters, 40f and sunny is warm to me. Sounds like El Nino keeps having temper tantrums.
