Turkey Hill Trail looks very peaceful. It reminds me that I really liked the closeup of the turkey from your Sunday post!

Thank you, Linda! It was a nice trail which connected to the 100-mile trail that winds through the Sierras. We also saw a lot of turkeys there too!

Thank you, Graham. This was the area of Michigan Bluff that wasn’t destroyed by the fire in 2022. There is another trail that takes you to the masonic cemetery that was all but destroyed. I’m grateful for the time we spent here.

So when you walked the Turkey Hill trail did you do the Turkey Hill trot?
Friendly spirits wait for you along this trail Terri.

I might have had to, Wayne. We spent a few Thanksgivings here where my dad used to live. Guess what we always saw the day after Thanksgiving? Turkeys! Last time we saw a flock of 20+. Who says turkeys are stupid birds?

If it was a bunch of male Turkeys they would be called a Posse of Turkeys!

Beautiful roadway, Terri. I love autumn. Although, now November has dulled the colors.

Thanks, Colleen! I took this shot in 2017 probably in November in the Sierra foothills where my dad one lived. Autumn started a little later there. I do miss going there especially fore Thanksgiving but I prefer that they are safely living in Arizona now. More to explore for me 🙂

This is the trail next to my Dad’s home in the Sierra Nevadas. Whenever we visited we simply walked outside their door. Always such a nice quiet hike.
It’s also part of the annual 100-mile run used for both horses and humans.
I’m kind of goofy with my various watermarks, lol. Thank you, Bernie!
