  2. Sorry “Terri” – I have a reader by the name of “Teri”.

    1. No worries, I’ve gotten used to it. At least you didn’t call me Charlie 🤣

      1. Ha ha … nope, no Charlie. So, I had to get used to calling her “Teri” as for about a year, she has been commenting on my posts, (as a reader only since she is not a blogger) and before she used the initials “TD”. Then she and a few other subscribers can no longer comment through a glitch at WP. If I send the actual link to their e-mail address(es), it works for them … sometimes.

    1. Thank you, Linda. We got some amazing light in that area…mornings were so calm, cool and different.

      1. We have been having some amazing sunsets due to the wildfires, but that has now passed; the sky was a vivid pink. I would like to find a place to take photos of the sunset or sunrise. I am not keen on going out after dusk or before dawn … too much crime and crazy drivers and in the neighborhood you get utility poles and lines. Someday it will happen.

    1. Thank you, Tina! I can’t even count how many sunset pics I’ve collected from the delta over 10+ years. The photographer who caught the last shot took pics of a bunch of us sunset gawkers that evening. He had his light and tripod with him. Some of his colleagues asked how he set the shots up in his studio or where he got that backdrop, lol. Just nature. Fun times!

  19. Those sunset colors are amazing! I can’t see the windmills without hearing how noisy they are. I’m happy for the power they bring but would hate to live near them!

    1. Stunning, huh? Oddly I never heard their noise, probably the wind blowing was loud enough. 🥴

  20. Great sunsets and skies Terri! The last time I went down to the Delta for a sunset, not a cloud in the sky. Still the windmills made for a nice picture.

    1. Thank you, Anne! You may notice that in the last image of me and hubby, there were no wind turbines built yet in 2009. Huge change in the last 13 years. Windsurfers are convinced they impact the wind effect on the water. But they definitely add to the look of the sunsets!

      1. Wow! I noticed if there are fires nearby, the smoke intensifies the colors of the sunsets. Amazing!

      2. Definitely, there were a lot of fires in NorCal then and now! 😪

      3. We’ve had (haze) smoke for about a week from the Canadian fires. I hope it leaves soon. It will 39 degrees tonight. I’m not complaining. 😂

      4. Washington and Montana got a lot of that same smoke. It’s gone…for now. Looks like we could be in for a hot summer ☀️ Enjoy your 39F!
