Let your life lightly dance on the edges of time, like dew on the tip of a leaf.
-Rabindranath Tagore
Dance is the theme for the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge.
Plenty of rain in Northern California and a couple of new tricks with my Samsung Galaxy gave me new perspectives of rain droplets on leaves and grass. Droplets bead up and roll, taking several other unsuspecting droplets with their miniature dancing deluge.
What do you think of this quote? To me it implies that life is precious and finely balanced, precariously perched in a delicate dance.
The last photo includes “Razzmatazz” a bright fuschia color for Jennifer Nicole Wells’ Color Your World Photo Challenge.
Really like the first in the series of three. It looks touchable and fresh. And really really happy you’re getting rain!

Thank you Janet! The weather has been good so far, lots of snow in the Sierras…California still has a long way to go to get out of the drought.

I envy your rain! Even though they say that it’s better that the concentration is up north where it helps the snow pack, I would love to have more down here. I like your take on the photo challenge word!

Thanks, Janis, I wish Cal would get more rain. Spring is still young, keep hoping! We’ve noticed that a lot of trees that were not watered around our neighborhood are mostly dead. Lot of people just ignored everything…I was able to use a weekly drip on my trees and they came out OK. Those trees are so important for shade.

Good quote to aspire to but not always easy to achieve. That’s the joy of inspirational quotes though, they are bite-sized reminders that nudge us back into positive ways of looking at life when life drags us down roads to nowhere.

I know, huh? We may like to think we can lightly dance through life carefree, but that same life likes to grab us and drag us down some days! Thanks for stopping by Gilly, good to see you 🙂

I only wish I could send over some of our British rain to you, Terri. We’ve just had one of the wettest Winters on record but have just enjoyed almost two weeks of dry sunny weather. However, after today, the rains are back. That Bunny is going to get very wet when he visits the UK tomorrow night.

We actually might get rain on Easter Sunday, but we’ll be in Yosemite all weekend, where it may snow the day after we leave. Get that bunny an umbrella!

Hi Terri,
Great to see you here at Blogger’s Pit Stop. I can’t tell you what I think of the quote since I am so mesmerized by your amazing photos. What did you use to get the writing over the photo?
Thanks for bringing your post to the Blogger’s Pit Stop.

I never learned pic monkey. I am so comfortable with Canva, I haven’t taken my time to learn something new.

I would think Canva allows for adding text to the image.
