Terri, I love all these photos. The dogs are so full of life. The lone fisherman is great. The macro and the windsurfer are worlds apart, and both are amazing.

Thank you, Diana! It was always a thrill to watch the semi-pros come out on big-wind days. Have you ever visited the Hood River area in the summer? The winds there bring a lot of windsport enthusiasts.

I haven’t. It’s about 2 hours away for me, and I’ve meant to get there. Maybe this summer!

I think July has the best wind there.

The dogs look so happy in these action shots Terri! The bee is happy too, though you can’t see his face to know for sure. 🙂

Thank you, Linda! Thanks for noticing the dogs. I cropped the image of Brodie very close and it still was very sharp. I think that’s when I realized the power of the Lumix’ travel lens with 600 zoom.

Your quote says it all and, while they’re all wonderful, the windsurfer is a capture to be smug about.

Thank you, Graham! That was in June 2018, the winds were blowing 40 mph at the delta. Then awesome windsurfers come out with their amazing tricks. I was so happy to have my camera there to capture the fun.
