  1. We have a bridge on the highway near home where I can look out over the northeast part of El Paso. In the early spring, I can look out over this area where I live and see all of the trees beginning to green. It always lifts my spirits and makes me hopeful. Your bird’s eye view of the fall foliage is lovely. Almost looks like a little make believe miniature village like one that would be created around a toy electric train track. All that tremendous color. Thank you for sharing.

    1. Thank you, Leslie! How nice that you also have a spot to see the seasons change. Now that you mention it, it does look like a miniature village 😁 🍁

  4. I love those autumnal walks, especially when it’s not raining, and the leaves are in full autumnal colour, Terri. That shot of the walk down the street also reminds me of a similar scene from the movie “Halloween.’ 🎃

    1. So many of our local sidewalks are non-existent here Hugh. But there are nearby suburbs where the sidewalks look so beautiful during fall. No rain yet.
I haven’t seen Halloween in years, so thanks for creeping me out 🤣🎃

      1. I haven’t seen the movie for years, but it has stayed with me, Terri. It was one of the first horror movies I saw. Friday the 13th was the first one I saw at the cinema, even though I was underage to watch it. My step-sister sneaked me in, so it’s her fault.

      2. I quit watching horror films after I saw The Exorcist at age 13. Those images stay with you!

  6. Gorgeous colors Terri. What are those deep red trees? They’re amazing.

    1. Thank you, Graham! The red trees are sugar maples. We have a youngish one in our yard that put on a great red show this year. Already dropped 🍁

  7. The leaves are poppin’ here Terri – they’re very pretty in the ‘hood and from up above as well!

      1. I should have worded that the leaves are poppin’ “there” … I wish I had a bird’s eye view like you had. I climbed up a hill today and onto a bridge to see the trees along the Canadian side of the Detroit River, but they are nowhere as plentiful as your colorful trees.

  8. I love the fall colors! I think I’d be tempted to glue the leaves on the trees so I could enjoy them for longer.

  16. Hi, Terri – You have captured these fall colours brilliantly. I am no longer in denial about Autumn…but denial about Winter is a whole different story! ❤

    1. Thank you, Donna! I’m so in denial about winter that we run away from it for a few weeks! I actually like the snow but I need the sunlight.
