  1. Happy autumn, Terri! As you know, we don’t get much color around here so I will enjoy the changing leaves vicariously.

  2. Stunning autumanal colours, terri. The reflection on the river photo is beautiful. It’s lovely to see how autumn is making her presence in the northern hempisphere.

    1. Thank you, Hugh! October is the peak month for color here. In Sacramento, it was peak by Veterans day, about mid-November. Last year here, we got a dusting of snow on October 28th. That might be too early! 🍁❄️

  5. The trees will change fast from this point on, Terri. The road in front of our house is covered with yellow leaves already. You’re right about how fast the colors change. 😊

  8. A season of beautiful colors. I love your selection of photos, Terri. I see many burning bushes in our area. I also saw a few maples turned completely red. One is in my neighborhood. I better take a photo of it soon.🍁🍁

    1. Thank you, Miriam! The colors finally popped but they will likely be gone in the blink of an eye once the late Autumn wind begins. I bet your neighborhood is gorgeous right now 🙂
In November when the western larches turn yellow and drop their needles–you know winter is around the corner.

      1. It has been popular this month. When I mentioned I was not doing it any more when responses dropped, boy did I get a lot of upset people replying

      2. But that’s great! I’m pleased with how many photo challenges are available to us, with so many themes and angles. There are very few places to share photography any more. I belong to a local 9 Mile Facebook photo group which is very supportive and encouraging. Some fab photos there.

I fear I will be doing Sunday Stills forever–and I’m very OK with it!

      3. I find that people enjoy challenges that are less work.
Find last photo and bung it on a post without fussing about.
That’s why I like Macro Monday, Monday Portrait Wordless Wednesday and Silent Sunday, no links or words needed, just a photo. Makes my challenge addiction easy 😁

    1. Slllloooowly, Graham. We had temps down in the low 30s again and losing sunlight everyday, so the colors really change quickly once that happens.
