Wonderful, Terri – what an extraordinary place, and a gorgeous selfie

Thank you, Toni, I’m blessed to have been to Yosemite so many times.

The background is perfect – stunning in fact. And you two are smiling and have made perfect selfies Terri. So many people take selfies and their eyes are vacant looking or one eye is “off” a little while taking the photo. Yours are great. I have never taken a selfie before. I’ve never been to Yosemite either but it looks beautiful.

The first one was a legit selfie–good thing my sunglasses are on or one eye would be off–trust me LOL! the other was taken by our friend that trip. Yosemite is pretty spectacular. I’m so lucky to have seen it so many times in my life. Thank you, Linda!

Ha ha – I have seen some selfies that are stellar. I wondered if you had a timer on the camera for the other photo. Friends are handy to have for capturing great shots like this one. You are lucky to see Yosemite multiple times Terri – I am envious of that.

No, I’m not really into selfies although if I’m with friends that are I join in the fun! But in a setting like that who wouldn’t want a souvenir photo or two?!

I look at these selfies as a great souvenir and documentation we were there 😁

Lovely Yosemite photo!
Ever since we traveled to Europe and hardly took any selfies, (yet my sister had very good documentation that she was there), I try to remember to take at least one selfie everywhere we go.

Nice selfies, Terri. Now you’ll have to build a new collection from all the new parks you get to visit!

Thank you, Marsha! I’ve been wanting to use the panorama shot then saw the WQ selfie prompt and remembered I had a couple of pics that fit the bill.

There’s nothing more impressive for a panorama! Do you miss Yosemite?

I guess I would miss it if I hadn’t been there 26 times, LOL! The valley is super full of tourists, so I don’t miss that too much, but I loved the high country of Tuolumne Meadows where we spent most of our time. I need to check more NPs off my visit list. We think Glacier NP is our next stop in late August.

I agree. There are plenty of NPs to go around. We need time off to travel to anything. I’ll be glad when our kitchen is finished. It seems like we always have a home project or two that keep us at home.

I remember standing right where you’re sitting in that first shot and thinking that it all looked like a painting and exactly like the photos I’d seen of it prior to going It’s an amazing park, I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Thanks, Jacqui! I love Yosemite, but it will be a while before we visit again. So many other NPs to see near where we live now 😁
