When fellow blogger Sue at Sizzling Towards Sixty approached me to write a guest post for November with the theme of “gratitude” I initially had no idea what I could write. Recent months have proven that I have much for which to be grateful.
With every challenge, there is opportunity and a reason to be grateful.
Many thanks to Sue for allowing me to focus on the positive energy of gratitude as we head toward Thanksgiving and the holiday season.

Thanks Terri for inspiring and teaching me through your writing. 🙂

Oops! I just went over to read the article and realized I’m not reading Sue’s but yours! You’re Sue’s guest blogger on her site. Still a great idea!

Shari, I just read your comments on Sue’s blog and I am moved to tears at your kind words. I think sometimes we just plough through life hoping to get through each day and negativity and despair creep in and potentially color our perceptions. Sue challenged me with writing a gratitude post and I am literally grateful to her for allowing me to look inward and stretch my thoughts toward being thankful for my life. The hills and valleys of life are what make it interesting and again I am touched that my words inspire you, Shari! You made my day with these comments, and these are some of the reasons why I love blogging. Thank you for your dear words.
