A #Sunday of #Trees in Balboa Park

Welcome to my first post for Sunday Trees! As I continue my extended blogging break (more of a break from writing, with an emphasis on photography), I wanted to add another photo challenge and this fits the bill nicely! I will be digging up some of my “oldies-but-goodies” tree photos to give them a chance to see the light of day. After all, they need sun, too!

This photo shows the root structure of this beautiful mangrove tree (one of many) that grace the Palm Grove in San Diego’s Balboa Park.

Mangrove Tree in Palm Grove, Balboa Park, San DiegoI discovered Sunday Trees from another photo-blogger, Carol, on her blog Light Words.

I am also linking this with the Weekly Photo Challenge theme Structure.

You can also join the Sunday Trees feature by visiting On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea.

Note: Oops, this was meant to post on Sunday Sept 3. Oh well, enjoy a day early!
