I have started a Tuesday “reblog” feature where I find posts relevant to my life that may be of interest to others.

Today, I am happy to reblog Send Sunshine’s Jessica Edouard’s post. Her quote “How can I show you the sun when you choose to look down” unexpectedly impacted me.

Do you have those people in your life? Those who are not willing to be positive or happy? Of course, circumstances can cause some people to be unhappy due to conditions and life events beyond their control. But if someone can show you a glimmer of happiness, get that dose of it, even if seemingly too small to matter.

Jessica and I go way back to Fall 2014 when we found each other’s blogs. She never fails to post daily, inspirational quotes with beautiful sunflower images.

When I take photos of sunflowers, I send her some she can use. Coincidentally, she used one of them today in her post! These sunflowers were slowly wilting in the late August sun. The image she chose symbolizes a bit of sadness as the sunflower tilts its heavy head a little downward.
