What would happen if all bloggers just took a blogging break for one day, or one week, all at once? Would google explode? WordPress or Blogger might. Just wondering…
I admire the bloggers who share something EVERY DAY. We all know it takes a lot of time and effort to publish a post. My hat’s off to you (if I wore one)!
My blogging break begins after today’s post. I will be too busy traveling during the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Add to the fact that my Surface Pro 3, with which I travel, has decided it doesn’t want to turn on. It is being shipped to the Costco repair center as I write this on my new-ish desktop.
I know I am not alone in taking my short break. This break also means that I won’t check blog emails as frequently, nor will I stop by and leave much in the way of comments. I may look at the WordPress Reader from time to time and “like” some posts.
If you are taking a well-deserved break from the blogosphere, enjoy your leisure time. Just think of the new adventures we all have to look forward to reading next year!
I will stop in to check out Friday’s Weekly Photo Challenges (I will be travelling both Fridays, so depending on the themes, I will have to submit a catch-up post or two after January 2). This blogging break will be good for playing with my new camera; by then I hope to have some new photos to share.
I will be posting photos to Instagram, so follow me if you’d like.
Season’s Greetings to you all, and whether you celebrate Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, or some other winter holiday…
…may it be warm, peaceful, joyful and full of love!
The Winter Wonders Link Up is still going, so if you are one of those admirable folks who post during the holidays, please add them to the link at the bottom of this post I will continue to share these as well.
Cheers!
Due to unforeseen things in my life I think I just went the longest I have gone in two years with out a post. Was kind of refreshing not having to worry about making sure I replied to this or that and kept up appearances.

Thanks, Gary! We all need breaks, even from the things we like, which gives us a new perspective! And take all the time you need, your fellow bloggers will be there for you!

Actually I’m more comfortable with the keyboard in my hands during these kind of life changing events. It’s the whole reason I started blogging in the first place. But the keyboard can’t provide hugs for people in need so it has been sitting idly.

Have a wonderful time Terri! We all need a break, and I’m saving mine to do just as you are going to do for my February winter getaway. Grr, sorry to hear about your Surface laptop you’re scaring me as that’s what I work on and love it. I hope yours if fixed ASAP! Happy New Year, enjoy! ❤

Hi Debby, thank you! Having a great time in San Diego! They opted to just replace my Surface pro so I got a Dell lap top (13.5″). SP3 was a little too small, plus it only had 4 GB of memory. Loving it! Happy new year!

Have a nice break! I could say I’m taking a break too, but I only post two or three times a month – it would be hard to tell my break from my normal routine!

Good for you! Although I’m not taking an actual break, my interaction with the interwebs will be much curtailed over the holidays. I look forward to seeing you and meeting your new camera. Enjoy your break and your Christmas celebration with your family.

Happy holidays, Terri. And, have a nice time away. I should take a little blogging break as well, but I can’t. The desire (addiction?) to still write and post is too big. 🙂 I hope to take it a bit easier next year and focus on my book more.
