Mutual Admiration is evident in this photo taken at a recent Wounded Warriors event held in Sacramento.
What is striking about this, is the military personnel are shaking hands with the lifeguards and thanking them for their part in serving as protection during the swimming activities in the public pool.
The lifeguards depict equal admiration for the military officers and participants for their service to our country and their resilience in the face of adversity.
Wounded Warriors events provide a venue for injured military personnel to safely participate in recreational activities tailored for their limitations, while allowing them to explore new activities.
I shared a similar post last year if you are interested in reading more about this.
