This cute goose family enjoyed a leisurely day in the park next to the river in Post Falls, Idaho. I’m glad the mama and papa geese were looking at the road, because the goslings are busy eating.

Goslings are cute until they become geese. At that point, they transition into poop machines. 🙂 I saw several families cross a very busy street here. Fortunately, they all made it.

This is sad but true. And some of the geese are downright mean!

They’re particularly mean when they have goslings. I’ve learned that if I run, rather than walk, toward them and hiss back, they won’t bother me. 🙂

Thanks! There were so many of the babies, 7! And the parents were so attentive.

It’s amazing the animal kingdom and how animals express their love and care on their offspring: )))
