For the One Word Photo Challenge that Jennifer Nicole Wells’ so graciously hosts, the color this week is MAUVE, a brownish purplish pink.
The color mauve is found in these beautiful Asiatic lilies in a Hawaiian Luau Bouquet.

For fun, I found a photo of the VooDoo Donuts sign in downtown Portland, Oregon.
Photography challenges are fun and you can join anytime!

I’ve heard great things about voodoo doughnuts. Does it live up to its name?
Your flowers are lovely. Thanks so much for sharing your mauve.

Vodoo doughnuts sound great. I love their slogan “The Magic is in the Hole”.

Not only are they really good, but they are really BIG! Worth the money and the cholesterol threat!

Even better. I quite like mine with warm custard poured over them. Even more of a cholesterol threat.
