Photo Op: Study in Deck Furniture

My deck furniture gets a new look in Cee’s Black and White photo challenge. The theme is “Table and Chairs.”

Table and Chair Study

I used my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone with no filters. I made edits in PicMonkey, which is free and very easy to use.

Sepia toned furniture

For this study in deck furniture, I used a filter effect in the phone, then edited it further in PicMonkey for the sepia tone. They both came out well and really made my humble deck furniture look amazing!

Since I started blogging, I found it important to include an image with the blog. Photos seem to draw interest. Rather than grab images from Google or other internet sources, I prefer to use my own (I have thousands of images!), edit them and add the watermark. Images can disappear if the originator removes it from the web. Has this happened to you on Pinterest or your blog?

My better images eventually make it to Instagram.

Have fun with photography! Several bloggers offer daily and weekly photo challenges. Today, I included these in Cee’s Black and White photo challenge and Lucile de Godoy’s The Clinic: Photo Rehab.

  1. My porch furniture should look so good. Maybe I need to take a photo rather than look at it!!

A warm day in Kansas City. We trimmed trees and cut back roses. Tomorrow snow predicted. Ah. Well. It’s February in the high plains.
