Standing on the bottom of an empty swimming pool creates a unique view of “scale.” Imagine diving off the diving board knowing you can swim to the drain twelve feet down. The pool managers are standing at about the 10 foot depth mark.
This photo shows everyone walking from the deep end. Note the girls on the right climbing up the ladder. Even the shallow end of the pool is deeper than you would think.
Strange to see a pool like that!
