SUP at Home on Rainy Soil

When we travel to La Ventana, Baja Sur Mexico, in the wintertime for our windsurfing vacations, the last thing we want to experience is rain! Rain in the desert happens, but after leaving the typically rainy Northern California in January, we wanted sun and wind!

Our friend owns a home in La Ventana and we were invited to spend two weeks with her. On this particular early January day in 2013, the sky was overcast and some light sprinkles had started. I was determined to get my stand-up paddle session in that day, so I got out the SUP and paddle and got it ready.

I did finally get out there! The rain stopped and the rest of the trip was sunny and warm.
