
It is not easy to find shadows in full sun on open water. On an especially windy, summer day on the Sacramento River at Sherman Island, the river had large swells and waves. The distant hills were in light shadow. I edited this photo in picmonkey and got these great shadows within the waves.
Shadowed or not, it’s a lovely shot!

Gorgeous shot! Indeed the waves have intriguing shadows on them and the photo seems to jump from the page! There’s action and movement felt in it! Brava! Great pand editing!

I really like the contrast of the simplicity of the hills and power poles and the motion of the water and the wind surfer and just hat little bit of bright color.
