I was nominated for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. My humble thanks to Veena who writes Think. Do. Write. for this award. Between the holiday hullabaloo and my retirement stuff, I’ve been off the blogging grid a little.
My blogging journey has been inspirational in many aspects; from honing my writing skills, to following others’ blogs (I follow 302 blogs!!), to making new friends along the way! I suppose since this week is my last week at my full time job of 30 years, I have felt more connected to people and relationships I have built. This is also the third week of Advent and I have also been paying closer attention to my walk with Christ.
I have learned over the last two weeks of friends who have passed away or have been stricken with cancer. These revelations have caused me much grief and simple acceptance of our truly short lives on planet Earth. I am forever inspired by the resilience and positive attitudes of those stricken and their families in coping with the tragic news.
If you are inspired by someone, whether a fellow blogger, or someone who is experiencing either joy or pain, share that inspiration with your friends and know that we are truly one community and we ultimately all want the same thing: PEACE.
I pray that you find it.
Here are the rules for accepting this award (purely voluntary):
