Thanks for the mention. I didn’t notice it until now because I’ve been away since Oct 1st. I’m just getting caught up, including a bunch of new music that I missed while gone. You deserve the award. You do have a lovely blog, and I enjoy it a lot.

Yes, I missed seeing your posts on good music! Catch up and sign up for Blogging 201! You deserve the award as well–I think it’s cool how so many of us “new” bloggers have recognized each other’s blogs.

Well I have finally caught up on my missing music and travel/photo posts since being away. Actually, now I realize that it would have been better to prepare these in advance and then schedule them with the WordPress editor since specific dates can be chosen. In my case, I used that feature to backdate the posts where they belonged when I got back
I’m still somewhat behind on last week’s assignments, and I’m trying to review them and see what I can do. Also, I have been nominated for both the Lovely Bog Award and Liebster Award, but it takes some effort to prepare the responses to the questions, identify additional nominees, and select other nominees, and post an announcement about the awards.
I tried to keep up with blog reading while away, but I need to do some catching up there. Hopefully, I can get this all behind me before Blogging 201 starts next Monday. See you there, if not before.

Hi Terri, I read a great comment from someone a few days ago, who said that she was so busy doing things she loved, and enjoying so much her retirement life that she couldn’t understand where she found time to work before that…
Again, thanks for the nomination..I discovered that we share a common interest, windsurfing!

That’s great to hear about retirement! How long have you been windsurfing? I started at the young age of 49! (5 years).

Hi Terri. I started when I was a teenager and trained with those big, heavy boards and sails. I stopped after my university studies and working life for lack of time and move to a city off the coast. I restarted this year; I got a new (and super light) board, as a birthday gift from my husband, so we can do it together. I had to learn it all over again. I was used to driving a ‘truck’ and not to flying a jet…
By the way, the award image is not showing up there.

I’m so glad you restarted. I use a larger board which can be great for light wind days. So cool to connect with another windsurf chica!!

Thank you, Terri, for the lovely mention. It was nice reading more about you. The nice thing about blogging/writing is that you don’t need to retire from it unless you want to.
